A Great Day for Surprises!

This week has been a very eventful week! Maria and I went to the doctor for our first visit, and today went to get our first ultrasound.

We were under the impression that we were 7-8 weeks along, but were surprised to find out that we are exactly 6 weeks and 2 days in to our pregnancy. It was such a great feeling to be able to see the baby for the first time! The baby is about 1/2 centimeter in size right now and our due date is September 6, 2006. The baby's heart rate was 118 beats per minute and they said that everything looks great!

What an awesome God we have, that would create us in His perfect image. It was so relieving to go and see the heartbeat of our baby. We could actually see the heartbeat flashing on the screen! How great!

The Big Day!

On December 25, 2005, Maria and I received the greatest gift ever, the gift of finding out we were pregnant. We spoke with the doctors office today and found that we are appx 5 weeks along. We are looking forward to our 1st doctors appointment on January 10 when we will get our first ultrasound. We will be posting pictures, videos and lots of other fun stuff in the near future.
