Greetings from Durango!

The past month or so has been quite eventful and we are having the most fun yet. This was Maria's first official Mother's day and it couldn't have been better with Ella being dedicated at church that morning. Unfortunately we weren't able to get digital pictures, so look for them to be posted next time after we have a chance to scan them in.

We also battled Ella's first sickness, and boy did she get sick! She got pink eye in both eyes, a double ear infection, and a cold all at the same time...yuck!

She is now incredibly mobile and is all over the place all of the time. The days of being able to have her sit in one place playing with her toys are over. She stands up all on her own and will walk all over the place as long as she has a wall or something near by to hold on to. She has started to eat "real people" food and Seth is determined to have her be a Mexican girl, he can't wait to feed her her fist taco!

Ella also started swimming and she LOVES the water. She will dunk her head underwater and stay in the pool all day if we let her.
